Roberta Moore Patterson began her media relations career in 1996. While in New York City, she worked as a record label publicist for Jetset, V2 and Mute. During those years, Patterson spearheaded media campaigns for Moby, Erasure, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, M83, Goldfrapp, Mercury Rev, Grandaddy, Liars, Richard Hawley, Richie Hawtin (aka Plastikman), Mogwai, among others.
