THE BUDOS BAND ANNOUNCES SPRING TOUR DATES - New Live Video Brandish Budos’ Intensity

Following a winter club tour (that lit up sold-out crowds from Los Angeles to Chapel Hill, NC), The Budos Band return back to the mid-west this April. The band promises to deliver the same brazen intensity each night, slaying audiences with its venomous psychedelic afro-rock.
Opening for The Budos Band on these dates is Daptone label-mate, Charles Bradley whose backing band will include the following Budos members: Jared Tankel (Tenor Saxophone), Andrew Greene (Trumpet), Daniel Foder (Bass Guitar), Thomas Brenneck (Electric Guitar), Dame Rodriguez (additional percussion).
While stopping in Austin, TX on August 21, 2010, The Budos Band filmed a knockout performance on a hot, sweaty night at the Mohawk. Jared Tankel recalls, “We showed up to the Mohawk in Austin on a hot, dusty August afternoon. They told us to be ready for a big night. The place holds 500 or so, so we figured we were in for a good old fashioned hot, sweaty Texas dance party. Then 800 people showed up and packed it out. It was f*&#ing insane. The Lone Stars and Shiner Bocks were flowing. Plus they have the best Green Room we’ve ever been to. Use your imagination…”
