The Defibulators

THE DEFIBULATORS, BROOKLYN\'S INDIE HONKY TONKERS, RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM ON MAY 5, 2009

The Defibulators will release their debut album, Corn Money, on May 5, 2009 on City Salvage Records. Emerging from the thriving roots scene in New York City, this seven-piece band wields an arsenal of instruments (upright bass, banjo, fiddle, backhills harp, Telecaster, and junkyard percussion) with relentless energy and virtuosity. They just completed a national tour including performing at SXSW 2009. AM NEW YORK described the band as “One of the most engaging live acts on the NYC roots scene.”

THE DEFIBULATORS CONFIRM MORE LIVE DATES

The Defibulators continue to confirm more live dates in support of their debut album, Corn Money, which is released through City Salvage Records. The band just returned from touring throughout the country, including SXSW. During this tour, The Defibulators developed a fanbase outside of New York City with strong turnouts in Philadelphia, Chicago, Austin, Minneapolis, Nashville, Kansas City, Dallas/Fort Worth and Chapel Hill, to name a few.
